Gayle Loader

Gayle Loader, 90, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on March 2, 2026, in New Braunfels,
Texas.
She was born on September 2, 1935, in Provo, Utah. A lifelong member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she attended Brigham Young University (BYU),
where she achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and excelled as a first-chair
violinist. She went on to become an elementary school teacher, specializing in kindergarten
and special education. With a deep passion for helping people in need, Gayle poured her heart
into her students. She remembered hundreds of their names and stories in great detail even
more than 40 years later.
She spent most of her life in California, raising her family in Pacific Grove, and moved to Texas
in 2019. She was a devoted and loving mother to her six children: Mark, Robin, Tory, Kara,
Dannika, and Paris. She created a warm, joyful home and remained a cherished grandmother
to her 17 beloved grandchildren: Ariel, Jaeryd, Rion, Josh, Erin, Abigail, Lexi, Gabriel, Jeremy,
Benjamin, Jonathan, Tabitha, Michael, Logan, Madyson, Rylan, and Andrew
She is survived by her children Mark, Robin, Tory, Kara, and Paris, her 16 grandchildren and
her 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dannika and her
grandson Logan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1 Skyline Forest Drive, Monterey, CA 93940.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
