James “Jim” Edward Tester Jr., of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on his 63rd birthday, October 13, 2025. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 13, 1962, to Peggy Mennenga and the late James Edward Tester Sr.

Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply. He is survived by his wife, Estella Tester; his children, Jazzmyn Tester, Jeneveive Tester, and Jordan Tester; his stepdaughters, Roxy and Jessica; his grandchildren, Angelina Melody Rose Tester and Brandon Cummings; and his mother, Peggy Mennenga. He is also survived by many other family members and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

Jim worked in many fields throughout his life. No matter where he worked, he made a lasting impression on those around him with his dedication, leadership, and genuine kindness. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, always finding a way to make people laugh and feel at ease. Jim touched countless lives through his generosity and warmth, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever. He will be dearly missed.
