Obituary For Jane Alice Rogers Matthews
Jane Alice Rogers Matthews, 88, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025 in Austin, Texas. Born in Houston, Texas on September 1, 1937, Jane led a life full of creativity, passion and service to others. Her family remembers Jane as a loving and devoted wife to her husband Russell Matthews, a retired Episcopal priest, who survives her, with whom she shared a life of faith, friends and community. Jane is also survived by her three children and spouses, Diana and Joe Kipfer, Roger and Lisa Matthews and Nan and Cam Edwards. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grand children.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 11:00 am at Church of the Annunciation, Luling, Texas.
