Melissa Lopez, 48 years old was welcomed into the loving arms of Our Lord on Monday June 15, 2026 surrounded by her
family. She was born on January 20, 1978 in Seguin, Texas to Gregorio Lopez Jr. and Maria T. Lopez.

She is preceded in death by both her father and mother. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Ma’Teah and Ma’Cheleann Holmes; her brothers Gregorio Lopez III, John Anthony Lopez(Yvette Rios), Adrian(Yolanda) Lopez; nieces Ashley(Ricky)Valadez, Alexis Lopez(Issac Cortez), Abbigail Lopez(Diego Ochoa), Adriana Lopez, Katie Marie Lopez; great nieces Natalia Ochoa, Analeia Ochoa, Adalena Cortez as well
as extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Nolan and Kaylynn, GRMC Hospice and staff, Donna Ricarte, CeCe and staff at Nesbit Nursing Home for their unwavering love, compassion and support during Melissa’s final days. Their countless hours of dedicated care, kindness and comforting presence brought peace and dignity to Melissa in her last moments on Earth and our family during this difficult time.

A memorial service for Melissa will be held on Saturday July 11, 2026 at 2pm at the Silver Center in Seguin, Texas. We
would love for anyone who knew, loved or cared for Melissa to join us as we celebrate her life and the beautiful impact she
made on so many hearts. While we mourn the loss of her presence,we also want to come together to honor the memories, stories and the love she leaves behind.

Following the Memorial Service, family and friends are invited to stay for dinner as we continue sharing memories and
celebrating Melissa’s life.
