Rebecca Jean Crouch

1976-2025

Rebecca “Becky” Jean Crouch, 49, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 12 2025 in Seguin, Texas. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was born on May 5, 1976 in San Antonio, Texas to Edward Kepple and Betty Kuehm. She was a longtime resident of the Stockdale area. Becky graduated Stockdale High School before joining the United States Air Force as an electronic computer & switching systems journeyman. She obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant in her AF career. While stationed at Kelly AFB, she met the love of her life, Michael Crouch, and they were married May 11, 2002 in Stockdale. Her love of helping people led her to become a licensed vocational nurse and focusing on pediatric care and later to volunteering as the school nurse at Stockdale ISD. This deep love of helping those in need extended to fostering puppies for a local shelter.

Becky loved spending time with her family and traveling to many parts of the country. Her most memorable times were the family trips that were taken with her children. She loved fishing, hunting, trail riding, spending time around a fire, and passing this passion along to her children. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Brandy. She was a member of the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse.

Becky is survived by her husband, Michael Sr.; sons, Michael Jr. and Johnathan; daughter, Jennifer; mother, Betty Shockley (Jim); brother, Robert Shockley (Tiffany); aunts, Mary Ann Miller and Susan Tondre; uncle, David Shockley (Gaye); mother-in-law, Robin Potts (James); brother-in-law, Shawn Crouch (Lisa); aunts-in-law, Christie Genola (Lewis) and Lynda Balk; uncle-in-law, Scott Cramer (Mindy); and 7 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Henry Crouch Jr.; grandparents, Albert Kuehm (Frances) and Ramer Shockley (Hazel); uncle, Ken Shockley (Linda); grandparents-in-law Henry Crouch Sr. (Evelyn) and LeRoy Cramer (Elaine).

We will always love you. Until we meet again.
